We had water at about 8.45 this morning, between Perry Vale and the South Circular - SE23 2E. We'll see if anything is left when I get home.

There was no water last night for a few hours after around 9.30pm at this end of Garthorned Rd, but all fine this morning (phew). Think Thames Water are doing ongoing work on a lot of the pipes in SE London, so might there might well be further interruption.

#SE23 #SE26 #SE27 area has also been impacted due to pumps tripping at Brixton Pumping Stations which has caused an air lock at Crystal Palace reservoir. Our team is working to get the area back to normal as soon as possible.

We have just had an update from our team in the area of #SE23 #SE26 #SE27 who are bleeding the air locks. Pressure is rising and customers in these areas should see supply start to return from 5pm.

The water was restored some time between 11.30pm 5/3/18 and 6.30am 6/3/18, however by 08.00am 6/3/18 the water had again ceased running.
Thames Water’s current excuse is to blame this on air locks that need to be released to allow the water to flow again, hence they have turned off supplies but do not admit this outright.

Oh no. Water was fine in SE23 2E last night and this morning. Should have filled up a few pans of water just in case.

Suggest keeping your kettle and a pan of water topped up, I no longer have any trust in Thames Water. They over promise and under deliver or just darn well lie.

On an LBC interview this morning by Nick Ferrari it came to light that the Chief Executive's salary at Thames Water is wait for it, now really wait for it, oh you'll need to sit down to hear this, £2.1 Million pounds a year. yes you heard it right £2.1 Million. NO one is worth that sort of money, now you know why our water bills increase so much to pay exorbitant salaries for him, his minions and the share holders. Shameful.

It's not quite a £2.1m salary. His base salary is £700k; and he has bonus potential on top made up of short term and long term incentives which if he and the company achieve their targets would pay him a total of £1.4m and if he and the company achieved very stretching and demanding targets would pay up to £2.1m. I know even his base pay is a lot but this is a large, complex job and is compared to others of similar size etc. They didn't achieve their targets in 2016/17 so bonuses were reduced considerably. I would very much doubt they will achieve them this year either and certainly not the super bonus level so he won't be earning anything like £2.1m.
This does not forgive their poor customer service and approach over the last few days but let's get the facts right and not just listen to what Nick Ferrrari and other journalists say.

NO one is worth that sort of money.
The Prime Minster who has a far more important and wide ranging job responsible for the safety, well being and running of UK plc, earns nothing like what he earns.
How does he justify his salary based on the recent performance of Thames Water? He and his Executives enjoy the Thames Water gravy train too much, I bet he doesn't have the balls to resign following the fiasco of the past 96 hours or so.
I honestly can’t wait till he gets hauled before a Parliamentary Select Committee, (led by maybe Margaret "the rottweiler" Hodge), the sooner the better, and she would make mincemeat out of him and his Executives ripping them to shreds. That will be seriously entertaining with her in full flow.
