Forest Hill Ward - Making use of "voice your concerns", reporting crime and influencing how we police Forest Hill

I am writing to you for a couple of reasons, so please take a few minutes to read this message. Firstly, I'd like to remind everyone on how to contact police and/or report crime should you need to. If you need police assistance in an emergency then please contact us by dialling 999. To report all non emergency crimes or to report instances of anti social behaviour etc, then contact us by dialling 101.

Secondly, as one of your safer neighbourhood's officers, I am mindful that there are issues occurring within Forest Hill that are not reported to police.

If you have any concerns within your immediate area these can be brought to our attention by using the MPS web site by visiting; https://www.met.police.uk/your-area/lewi...est-hill/. Please remember though, this is not a portal to report crime; this is done as stated, via 999 or 101.

The more issues that are brought to our attention via this portal will allow us to bring these matters to the attention of our ward panel; a ward panel is a group of individuals that sit four times a year and represent the community, whether these people be councillors, local government workers, neighbourhood watch co-coordinators, housing providers, teachers or resident association representatives. These members then vote on what issues are to be dealt with by your policing team for the next three months.

Our current promises are;
Begging and ASB in the town centre.
ASB by motorists
Crime Prevention

I also wish to expand upon our current ward panel members and increase the current wards representation, so I ask; should you wish to join our ward panel and help make a difference to your area , please contact either my Sergeant, PS 36PL Biddle, Amie or myself via our website: ForestHill.snt@met.pnn.police.uk. This e-mail address is secure for this purpose.

Thank you for taking the time to read this message and I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely, Michael 195PL.
