Have you ever wondered why they all come at once?
A point for the ' number theory' thread, perhaps?

This is nice, but can I ask where this thread is leading?

I was wondering if they were more Forest Hill people than Honor Oak People using this forum.

From experience you never know where a thread is going to lead to anyway.

HOP seems to be out-numbered which is also reflected here in general posts and replies on the forum which sometimes can be a bit Forest Hill centric when SE23 is both Honor Oak Park and Forest Hill. Having lived in both Forest Hill and HOP, I must say I do now prefer the Honor Oak Park wibe, especially since more and more places seem to be opening in Honor Oak.

Do you mean where am I right now, or where do I live?

It was just funny the poll asked "Where are you?" hmmmmmm. Technically I am 'elsewhere' but I lay my hat in the 'Vale' of Forest Hill.

I lived in HOP for a year and am now in FH, just to confuse things

HOP near Blythe Hill Fields. Almost SE6 but not quite! Probably only go to FH once a week at the most these days, now that we have decent places to eat and drink on our doorstep.

Exactly I have not been to Forest Hill since we moved to HOP as we have nice pubs, restaurants, post office, corner shop, deli etc on our doorstep now.

I'm FH - although I'm thinking of starting a campaign to rename my area (the 'wrong' side of the station!). There's definitely no hill down here in the vale!

thenutfield you seem sadly confused. The wrong side of the station is the Forest Hill sub-region of Forest Hill. But that isn't a vale, it's a hill. The right side of the station is the Perry Vale sub-region of Forest Hill. And that isn't a hill, it's a vale. I hope this makes everything crystal clear for you. But just in case you need further clarification there is also, on the right side of the tracks, the Perry Hill sub-region of Forest Hill. And, of course that isn't a vale, it's a hill. Hope this makes things clear for you.

Those on the 'Hill' side of Forest Hill are riddled with East Dulwich and Village 'envy' while us happy folks on the 'Vale' side can sit pretty knowing we aren't Catford. ;-)
