Is it me or are they now digging roads up twice.

I know that our wrought iron (or is it cast iron) gas mains need to be replaced with PVC, and our water mains similar, but are they really digging up the same roads twice within months (as it seems in the posh estate) or am I going senile.

And are policemen also getting younger.

This thread on our local roads appears to have lost its way.

Anyway nothing like a conversation with myself. On close examination it looks like they are now laying electrical cables. Only a few months ago it was the gas main. And I am pretty sure that they dug this section of road up twice in the last year for minor road repairs and moving the pedestrian islands. Do none of the authorities talk to each other?

Wood Vale but it creeps all the way across the posh estate (aka Horniman Heights), and down into SE22
