Train Disruption Due to Sinkhole on Track

I can't believe it's a sewer, why have a sewer so high up on a railway? Confused
I wonder if it's the old subway where you had to walk from the old middle platform?
The middle platform and subway were closed in 1978. Maybe they didn't do a very good job filling it in.Ohmy
