Just seen some new planters on Perry Vale made out of old tyres (of all things!). Well done Lewisham!

Yes very colourful.
Anyone know why the trees which were supposed to be planted there failed to materialise?

Councillor Susan Wise was very helpful in making this possible and getting approvial from the council. But the real work was done by Rockbourne Youth Club - who did the painting, A A Tyres who donated the tyres, and the Forest Hill Society who can claim credit for the idea and organising the planting.

Just a few weeks after the All Inn One installed raised beds almost opposite. Definite improvement to Perry Vale.
