We live on the corner of this nightmare junction in SE23, cars driving too fast resulting in weekly accidents one of which totally writing off our parked car, closely missing pedestrians and decimating our front garden and our next door neighbours...You may have used the junction in your car (to get to Sainsburies?) or tried to cross during busy times, it's crazy and dangerous especially at peak times and for children...Please sign the petition to make it safer for all of us, and share with anyone else who lives in the area, Thank-you please!

There used to be central reservations in Woolstone Road to separate and slow the traffic. But they were removed.

It is one of worst junctions in SE23.
A mini roundabout would slow up the traffic, but I'm not sure if they could fit one in there.

Agreed, awful junction. Cranston/Houston Roads are used by numerous HGVs, skip lorries and similar vehicles in contravention of the 7.5t limit, which adds to the problem. I also see countless Clarkes coaches using the roads as a ratrun, often backing up traffic, and when I complained I got a very smug reply from Clarkes stating they were entitled to do so as the 7.5t limit didn't apply to coaches/buses. I think we need to petition the council to add 'no buses' signs to either end of these roads.
