Please can someone explain to me what the Ward Panel is (I believe it's a consultative body representing local interests to the police to help set priorities), how it operates, who is on it - nominated? elected?

If there is a relevant website, a link would be appreciated.

Thanks!

There is a Safer Neighbourhoods Team ward panel which includes representatives of residents associations and civic societies (FH Soc), councillors, and Traders (as well as the local police).

I attend the Forest Hill SNT ward panel. The meetings take place quarterly.

If there are any issues of particular concern to you I would be happy to raise them at the ward panel, although it is usually worth contacting the police directly in the first instance.

My email if you wish to raise anything is michael@fhsoc.com
