Does anyone know what's happening about the water leak in the road carriageway opposite Express Dry Cleaners (which I'm sure has been mentioned here before, but I can't find the relevant thread)? It's been there for months. I've been away for a few days and came back to find a road repairs sign next to the leak (which was bubbling up even more vigorously than usual) but no sign of any work actually being done.

I hope it's sorted before it starts freezing.

I've been meaning to call Thames Water about this for ages, but always on my way to work so keep forgetting. A stream in Forest Hill is quite scenic, but is perhaps not ideally placed on Dartmouth Road. On the back of your post, I've just spoken to TW to find out why they haven't repaired it.

The leak has been reported by several people and the guy on the phone has now increased the repair priority. An inspection will take place tomorrow (Sunday 23rd) and a repair shouldn't be far behind.

As a word of warning, try to avoid passing the pothole as a bus drives over it. Last week, I was spectacularly in the wrong place at the wrong time...

I logged this two months back on their website it's taken them ages to do anything, maybe they couldn't get the license to close the road because of the buses? What a waste tho

They've removed the fountain in the town centre.

I see the leak (or another one in more or less the same place?) is back.
