Pardon me folks but wondering if any one has seen this occur on their dogs lips. It started out as a skin tag but seems to have mutated.....?.????

Seriously? Have you taken your dog to the Vet.

Possible canine papilloma

Vets opinions differ on how to treat them. But they are a virus which can reoccur.

Tuvaaq had one on his foot which was removed.

Thank you Snazy, spot on. Went to the vet today. It should disappear on it's own, and yes it's due to low immune system in young dogs.

Thank you for taking the time to reply, much appreciated Thumbsup

No problem milliemop.

Glad all is well. Always a worry. Sadly Tuvaaq needed surgery on his, but he is all better now.

Well done caring enough to ask and get it checked out.

Tuvaaq what a great name and great to hear he is all better now Thumbsup

Ours is still looking a bit ugly to be fair so hopefully he will be able to smile brightly very soon

Thanks again
