According to some research I was doing today Betty Swanwick was born in Forest Hill. Anybody know where?

I ended up buying the monograph on her. She lived in various locations in FH, Sydenham and Greenwich. Given Lewisham has so few Blue plaques I think she would be a good candidate.

Yes.
Posters for the Underground.
Whimsical and odd paintings.
I first encountered her work in the early 70's when the prog rock band Genesis used one of her paintings for the cover of Selling England by the pound'. I had forgotten all about her until the weekend when I decided to look into her career. A lot easier to research someone now than it was then.

The more I find out about her life and career the more surprised I am that she has vanished from the cultural radar.

Results of research are that she also lived at the following addresses locally:
65 Hurstbourne Road
5 Courtside, Dartmouth Road
6 Halifax Street
1 Park Hill, London Road
If you live at any of the above were you aware of the artistic connection?

Here's a bit more information on Betty Swanwick:
She was the daughter of Henry Gerard Swanwick, born Ada Elizabeth Edith on 22/5/1915 in Colfe Road, Forest Hill. She attended Prendergast School and Goldsmiths College.
She also lived at 65 Hurstbourne Road 1920-1936, 5 Courtside, Dartmouth Road 1937-1941, 1 Park Hill, London Road 1942-1954 and 6 Halifax Street 1955-1959 when she moved to Greenwich and then to Tunbridge Wells, where she died in 1989.
