If nothing else some basic maintenance on the fence should be a priority with the potential to replace the whole lot when some funds are raised. Failing a bear trap, maybe some planting in the reserve to make it less easy to get to the houses from the central path? Further along where the growth is more dense there doesn't seem to be the same problem? I'm only hoping they managed to get covered in some of the fox poo I chuck over the back on a regular basis.

Sounds like there's a real issue along this side of the road - very sad.
