Except that FH never had any of the 'edge' that other areas of south London where I have lived over the past 40 years such as Brixton and Clapham did. We picked FH from the possible choices of locations to buy a house in the 1980's because it seemed to be a fairly ordinary, cheap slice of south London. Interesting looking back to think how much better the return on the money would have been if one of the above had been chosen instead.
That article on the changing demographics of various parts of London over the past 20 - 30 years seems spot on. Those aspirational types used to be called 'yuppies! for a good reason.
