Poppy who some of you may know will be hitting our TV screens on 5/1/16.

The Shannara Chronicles on MTV!

She is such a selfless lovely person and certainly hasn't changed a bit since filming this.

I thought people with kids might want to know about this as she was always helpful with kids doing homework (especially languages) and all the kids loved her.

Now who would have thought those books would ever be filmed. Did she get to meet Mr Brooks I wonder?

Yes! And she comes to visit so often, she is such a lovely person inside and out. and really deserves this.

She has been on board with me on many free and fundraising events and is such a good person.

I wish her the best of luck with this, but she knows that anyway.

Hope all get supporting her on this massive venture for her!

I used to love those books - will have to re-read. No surprise that Erekose, given his monicker, is familiar with them also!

Thank you.

I will check.
But 10.00 p.m. is a bit late on a school night!

Yes it is but as far as I know at the moment it's a PG.

So best check this out too.

From what I've saw overall it looks pretty amazing and guess it's up to parents to decide overall what their kids can and can't watch.

We can thank GOT for pushing forward the genre a suitable subject for TV and I am really looking forward to seeing how these turn out.
Having examined my copies of the books I find that like most of my 70's and 80's paperbacks the glue has failed and the pages drop out......publishers way of telling me to buy them again?

Which character was she playing? I'm sorry I'm not familiar with Poppy. I won't say what happens in case people are spoiler averse.

Crikey! She is good! I've heard the series has been confirmed for another season so it must be doing well.

Pops has finished filming but the series will carry on!

Email from her night before last. Like I said she is such a lovely and down to earth person.

"Oh Pauline!! Thank you so so much, for both your lovely emails and all your incredible support. I'm sorry my replies aren't as speedy as I'd like them to be, but it's all a bit crazy at the moment. I'm back to London soon though so hopefully life will calm down again! It's all jolly exciting though! The show has been so well received, it's just so lovely.
I hope you and the fam and everyone from the shop are doing well, I think of you all all the time. Hope you had a magical Christmas and New Year!
You are incredible Pauline, thank you for your endless loveliness!! Hope to see you really soon.
All my love and hugs and elf ears!
Pops xxxx"

Yeah, I've had some elf ears of my own since my doctor told me that my blood pressure, cholesterol and stress levels are way too high!
