Ha, don't tell me
...and there was you outside the gaff with missus, kids and the dog, solicitor fully briefed with local searches done and TR1 form ready to sign and all your furniture waiting to be unloaded from the removals van, with your grubby little hand out for the keys...

[nitpick]Technically, it isn't. It is provided to you on the basis that you are going to order food, so it will be built into the prices for the rest of the food.[/nitpick]

Can anyone recommend a good pizza delivery in the Honor Oak Park area?

We usually use Pizza Al Forno in London Road but it usually arrives lukewarm and last night they got the order wrong!

I don't think there are any really good ones, but best of an avarage bunch is probably Villa Toscana in Brockley.

Sadly, Lolo's patisserie on the corner of Siddons Road and Perry Vale seems to have shut down. Been closed for quite a while.

This morning I noticed that the Indian restaurant where Foret des Amis was is now a pizza place. It was first thing so couldn't tell if it was open.

The Railway Telegraph is changing hands at the end of this month.

How well has it been doing? Unfortunately its redesign and new menu coincided with a reduction in us going out generally, so I've only been there a couple of times, quite some time ago.

Do they still do the pie for 30 odd quid?

I had lunch there a few months ago and was very happy with the meal and the pub. It's a bit out of our way but worth the walk.

There is a Firezza reasonably local but I can't remember its exact location - they only deliver to certain parts of SE23 though - we live off Perry Vale and they don't deliver as far as us (which prompted us to ask them why they leafleted our street then....)

Massive bump for this thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

We went to My Jamii café on Honor Oak Park today for the first time and found it really good - excellent coffee, nice ambience and the food looks lovely.

We've also been really impressed with Hattush. The food is great with really well-cooked meat and very fresh salad. I think it's as good as the (deservedly) popular Meze Mangal on Lewisham Way and saves us the trek there as it's walking distance!
