Foxes are very a important link into the ecology controlling the rat population. If we get rid of Foxes the area would be overrun with them. Also foxes are the first link to getting people interested in wildlife and are not vermin if people did not leave they discarded chicken boxes and flytip or leave they rubbish bags near bins as this encourage them. It is people who are vermin for they actions.

I suppose if we had badgers in the area you would want them got rid off because of the link of them being carrier of

The other current thread reminded me of this long discussion on the little red blighters and their place in urban life. Now we have Boris as PM perhaps urban fox hunting will become obligatory?
