Hello,

I'm in my early thirties and new to the area so I'm starting a Craft Club at my home in Honor Oak Park (2 mins from the station) to meet some like minded local people.

The next Craft Club will be on Monday 27th July from 19.30 - 21.30 in my garden or living area depending on the weather, and I'll provide a light supper. It's free and all you need to do is turn up with a craft project you're working on and a pleasant demeanour!

Please email me a bit about yourself and then I'll send you more info - craftclubse23@yahoo.co.uk.

If you like the sound of the Craft Club but can't make July 27th, send me an email anyway so that I can tell you about future dates.

Hope to see you soon!

Hi, a few people have emailed me asking what crafts we'll be doing. The idea is that people bring whatever they're working on - I'm going to try making some candle holders but other people might bring knitting, crochet, sewing etc and then maybe we'll be able to inspire and help each other!

I also should've said that places will be first come first served and I already have a few people booked in so please email me soon if you'd like to come on July 27th

How was Craft Club? Or is the first rule of Craft Club not to talk about Craft Club? Wink

Assuming you're female, there's a branch of the Women's Institute in HOP which started up just a few years ago. They sometimes post on here to promote their meetings. They're got a Twitter feed too, so you can see they kind of things they do.
