We should also remember that extremism occurs with tragic and not always equally recognised and acknowledged reflections from within ''our'' heritage:

Give Britain its due, it held a ceremony in Westminster Abbey to commemorate the victims - people WE failed despite the ''never again in Europe'' mantra.

Unsung and unacknowledged however, an anniversary that is coming up and which I know some argue led to Britain betraying its Mandate responsibilities to the Palestinians:
