Funny, I've been thinking that for a while now. There's a council/private partnership one in East Dulwich, but it's not very big. The Fitness First in Beckenham is quite nice and I go there sometimes, but it means taking the car. I'd definitely sign up if a decent "fitness" based gym with some classes would open in the area.
