Calling all cake bakers!!!

Can you help?

Each year at the Friends of the Blythe Hill Fields Festival, the Friends sell cakes to help cover the cost of putting on the Festival. Plus, any profits from the Festival are used to improve the park's facilities. The cakes are all baked and donated by lovely local people.

So if you feel you could help us by baking a cake or two, please get in touch by emailing volunteers@blythehillfields.org.uk or calling Ellie on 07786 331007.

The Festival will be held on 4 July this year, from 12 - 5 pm. Please come and join us! For more information please check out our Facebook page or our website: http://www.blythehillfields.co.uk

Brrr! It's a bit chilly out there.

But don't worry! We've got something that'll warm you up (on the inside).... Volunteer at the Blythe Hill Fields Festival 2015!

We need some help with the following:

- selling raffle tickets;
- placing a Sebastian Roche sign/hoarding, advertising the festival outside your property;
- baking a cake (or two) to be sold in the Friends tent at the Festival;
- acting as a steward on the day day, manning the gate, helping out with the Friends tent and/or litter picking;
- help to set up the Festival and/or help with the clean up.

With just two hours of your time, you could help us put on a fantastic show. If you are interested in volunteering, please get in touch! Email volunteer@blythehillfields.org.uk

This year's Festival will be held on 4 July 2015, from 12 - 5 pm. For more information please go to http://www.blythehillfields.org.uk

It's nearly BLYTHE HILL FESTIVAL time and it's going to be AWESOME!

Please come along on 4 July (12 - 5pm); here's a taster of what you'll find:

• on the Main Stage, live music from local acts and performers, including Blues Patrol, Siobhan Parr and DJ Polar Bears Can Dance
• on the ALL NEW Woodland stage you can enjoy Punch and Judy, comedy from the Scummy Mummies and here you can have a go at hula hooping, swing and street dancing in our taster sessions
• lots of fun things for the kids in our story telling and craft tents - decorate your own hula hoop with Hoop Club, get crafty with the Secret Adventurer's Club, magical storytelling with Smallprint Ltd, take a drama class with Mini Drama, fun and games with Fitness for Mummies and meet some furry friends from Surrey Docks City Farm
• over 40 wonderful stalls offering an eclectic array of lovely things to tempt and interest you
• stalls offering food and drink from all over the world, including bangers from the Proud Sow, the award winning Babur restaurant and locally sourced beer from the Beerseller
• a fun fair

... and so much more. It’s going to be a cracking afternoon - come and join in the fun!

All funds raised go to support our ongoing work in the park. So come and help us make Blythe Hill Fields an even lovelier place!

We are grateful to the following organisations for their sponsorship of the Festival: London Borough of Lewisham Council, Catford Rotary Club, Sebastian Roche Estate Agents and The Blythe Hill Tavern.

If you would like to volunteer, then please email secretary@blythehillfields.org.uk
