We are parting with this much-loved and very useful oak dining table only because it doesn't fit in our new flat! The table is 100x138cm extending to 280cm with two leaves, one on each end (see photos). Extension mechanism is very easy - just pull out the leaf and then push to close. Table legs are painted shabby chic, giving the table a nice country antique look. Table-top is in a gorgeous chequered pattern (see photos).

The table was bought with the chairs in an antiques shop. Chairs are 6 regular brown padded dining chairs with lovely stud detail and 2 matching larger chairs with arms, all very comfortable. We're honestly not sure if they're real leather or not, but they look good! As the chairs are also antique, they're somewhat worn, but in a way that compliments the antique style of the set. Larger chairs also feature lovely carving detail on the arms and legs (see photos).

The table seats up to 10 when extended comfortably, but we've had 12 eating around it! The table can be dismantled down slightly for removal, the table-top and two leaves come off the legs. However, the table top is quite heavy so will require 2 men to lift and carry it.
