Lewisham Council will be resurfacing Dartmouth Road from 20th - 26th March, 9pm till 5.30am. Great news as many have mentioned in previous threads that this is needed.

That's good news. Would be good if they could do the pavements as well but at least its something

Great news, much needed, hopefully they will make a good job of it, and get the humps back in asap.

They should actually finish Dacres Road first.. they have resurfaced most of it but there is about 200m that is basically a dirt road in front of our place.. not cool

In saying that, it will be good to see Dartmouth road getting a spruce up!

It'll probably mean the buses will be diverted with the 176 and 197 away from Forest Hill going along Sydenham Hill and Kirkdale instead.

Wasn't this done only about 3 years ago? Hopefully they'll do a better job this time around..

They were supposed to be doing Devonshire, which really desperately needs it, but nothing seems to have materialised.

The Devonshire road's section on the Honor Oak side is being resurfaced as well. They started on Monday 15/12 and should finish tomorrow 19/12. Nice and smooth road...i wish they could do the pavement as well, but the road resurfacing is already a big improvement! Thumbsup
