This thread makes me nostalgic for the Forest Hill McDonalds which catered for kids getting the kids their food fast with a ball room and some plastic rubbish to play with and a kids meal that cost less than a flat white.

I have three boys and they have no interest in sitting around in a cafe while the parents chat. I wouldn't impose on them for more than it takes us to eat our food unless I had brought some screens to amuse them. Going to a restaurant I would see as different and they would behave themselves.

My award for rudeness would go to the cyclists who are too lazy/stupid/ignorant to stop at the Sainsbury's traffic lights. I have to tell my kids to wait for the green man and the lycra man.

Now now Borderpaul - I think you're just trying to start something here - inconsiderate parents and cyclists on one thread - I think the internet might explode....
