Does anyone know who is responsible for cleaning the walls of the underpass? The whiteboards are looking really tatty now and would benefit for a thorough clean and buff.

No idea whose in charge. Just wanted to say thank you for evoking very fond memories of one of my favorite Smiths songs.
It is very dirty down there though.......almost as if I can feel the soil falling over my head.

It often plays in my head as I walk through the underpass in the mornings. I should be careful working Smiths references into a post -I am aware that you should never plagiarize or take on loan.

At least there is a light that never goes out.

You could try reporting it with the Love Lewisham app. I've found a good report is usually fixed in a couple of days - it's quite satisfying!

I tried that and nothing got done.

Is it something FHS would get involved with? i'd happily give a hour up early morning once every few months to help clean it. It makes a big difference to the imagine/look of the centre.

It has suffered from a lot of graffiti over the Xmas period.

I see the graffiti was removed so the Love Lewisham site does work.

Interestingly there are 2 CCTV cameras in the underpass - obviously they don't deter the vandals, but I wonder if it any footage was captured or reviewed to try and find the perps.
