How many parents out there were aware that there WAS a fun fair in Mayow Park between Thursday and Sunday last week?
I happened to catch sight of a poster opposite the Horniman entrance earlier in the week and happened to pop by on Sunday, but I hadn't seen anything about it anywhere else, particularly here.
Unfortunately it seems to have been very poorly attended so I guess they won't be doing that one again.
Did anyone here know about it? I gather they had most of their posters taken down (they blamed the council)
Shame to see it fail as Mayow Park really needs more people to use it.

I went. There seemed to be plenty of posters around my neck of the woods. I went last year too. I think the poor weather probably didn't help attendance over the weekend, though.

They advertised it on the entrance to Wells Park. When I saw fun fair from a distance I thought they were going to hold it in Wells Park, which also needs something, apart from it being a lovely park.

I was unaware of this. Possibly they did not advertise it widely in case too many people came!
