I bought a new tank and was given a couple of Plecos to go in it but have decided not to shift to tropical and to give my cold water fish an upgrade instead.
They're pretty cool fish, interesting to watch and good for keeping the algae in your tank under control. My old tank is really much to small for them (quite tall and slim, so tiny footprint and not nearly enough floor for them to wiggle around on, plus it's not suitable for putting a heater in) and once the Autumn really sets in and the water temp drops they're not going to be too happy with the cold either.
If anybody wants to give them a good home them please do because they don't have one here.
