Or stalk (faint pun attempted...) likely gardens and nick branches?

No, a nice lady on another SE forum is giving me an old chopped up tree from her garden. I think she sees it as clearing rubbish, but it'll save me a fortune :-)

Wouldn't it be nice to trawl woods though...sigh...
