A male was stabbed by someone known to him at around 9.25pm last night in Devonshire Road between Dunoon Road and Boveney Road. If you witnessed the incident or saw anything suspicious please call 101.

Yes, I saw that... usefully illustrated with a photo of the short section of Devonshire Road that is totally different to the area where the attack took place.

"A 40-year-old man has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: “At this early stage police believe that the victim and the suspect are known to one another. Enquires continue.”

Not nice but good to know it wasn't a random attack and that the suspect has been taken in.

Have to agree also.

Live right outside where the attack happened and although horrified by the incident, myself and my family are somewhat relieved it wasn't a random attack.
