Hi everyone. I'm basically here to ask for some help/ideas any of you may have. Long story short is that I suffer from a medical condition that sometimes makes it difficult for me to get out and about. I have bipolar disorder which brings on bouts of depression and anxiety which can be a bit debilitating. It's during these periods that I really need to socialise and get some fresh air inside me but it's also the times where I really don't want to even leave the flat. Catch 22 right?

Well here's where you lovely people come in. My girlfriend and I had a discussion about things that could help me. One major thing is animals. Particularly dogs. I love dogs! So if anyone has a dog that they would be willing to let me spend some time with or take for a quick walk I'd love to hear from you.

In the couple of months leading up to Christmas I had a GP referral to the gym which I found very helpful. Since the referral ended however, I have found it more and more difficult to go on my own. If anyone fancies being a gym buddy to get me up and running again that too would be great.

Lastly I would just like to know if anyone has any advice to offer in general. I haven't been in the area too long and because of the way things are don't know too many people and socialising is so important but very difficult. Ideas for places go and things to see would be nice.You could do much worse than putting me in your pub quiz team.

I know this is a bit of a different post and I'm not sure this is the right section to put it in so to cover myself I'll end by saying..........the bloody traffic on Dartmouth Road on a Saturday is awful!
