Underpinning necessary for houses in Honor Oak?

I read a comment, on another forum, suggesting that houses in the area require underpinning. Is this correct? The same forum had a comment about particularly thin walls between houses on a street in the area and I wondered it anyone has similar comments, or indeed general comments, specifically regarding Holmesley road.
