Hi All

I'm holding the 2nd Empty Shops Group meeting on Wednesday (18 July) at the Question Bar at 7.30pm.

I held the first empty shops group for Sydenham, Kirkdale and Forest Hill at Grow Mayow Community Garden, SE26 in June with initial aims of:
- Identifying and engaging with the landlords of empty shops.
- To come up with a range of ideas to bring empty ideas into use from temporary arts related projects to initiatives that will encourage new businesses to take up the empty units.

Since this first meeting there have been a number of developments as follows:
- Some landlords interested in meanwhile use for their empty shops.
- A number of folks who would like to trial their businesses in empty spaces.
- Some potential opportunities for funding projects.

If you would like to come along to the meeting to find out more please email Louise Brooks at louise@bakelondon.co.uk
