May Day by the seaside ... several Forest Hill cyclists took part in the chase the Veteran Car Rally last November.

This time the Anerley Bicycle Club will be trying not to chase the London to Brighton Run of the Historical Commercial Vehicle Society from Crystal Palace Park on the same day. They are just too big!

If instead you would like a slow potter down the leafy lanes of Surrey & Sussex to an ice cream by the sea - join us for a day.

The Anerley is now based in Purley but I will be setting out from Sydenham and rendezvousing at Anerley Station 08:15 on Sunday May 1st to make it a real A2B journey. Call me on 020 8778 6300 if you would like to come along.

We do about 12mph which is real slow but we do talk a lot ...
