As a result of a discussion on another thread (see here) I propose we start a local lunch club for those of us who happen to be in SE23 during the day for whatever reason.

This would be like having an "offline" discussion where at least we get a chance to meet some of the people behind the IDs.

No pressure, very informal and possibly rotating venues to try out new places. I'm assuming we'd start off with a hot topic of the month, but I certainly do not see it as anything nearly as formal as a book club or anything.

What do you think? How many of you are around here during the day and fancy meeting up for a chat occasionally?

Just because it 'cleverly' links to SE23.com, and for no other reason, I propose we make it on weekdays as close to the 23rd of the month as possible.

Next week is too soon, plus I am busy, so how about we aim to start in February? It would mean launching the 23 Club on Friday, February the 22nd 2008, and I suggest we make it at the Lemon Grove.
