Hi all
I live in Honor Oak Park and am involved in a charity mission which will see a crew of friends attempt to raise thousands of pounds, and achieve Guinness World Record™ status, for the longest continuous trip in a fire engine - a record never before attempted.
On July 18, the fire engine and crew will embark on a 26,000-mile mission, around the world, covering 28 countries, over nine months.
The expedition is leaving at 12:00pm from The Grand Square at the Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich - the Prime Meridian of the world.
100% of the money we raise goes to 3 charities - Macmillan Cancer Support, The Fire Fighters Charity and The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Myself and the other crew members will be at the Old Royal Naval College from 10am everyone is welcome so if you fancy it please do come and wave us off. Martha, our fire engine is always a BIG hit with the kids especially
