On Tuesday 16th February, BBC London 94.9's Robert Elms will be broadcasting his show live from the foyer at the Horniman Museum between midday and three o'clock.

He's inviting anyone with an object/artefact etc that they feel is part of London's history to bring it along to be discussed on the show and to be added to a web site as part of the BBC's 'A History of the World' project.

You can though bring in your item along any time during the day from 10.30am.

These objects could also be added to a collection already chosen by four of London's top museums as the best examples of London's history in object form.

For more info go to http://news.bbc.co.uk/local/london/hi/ and click on 'History'

The show also needs the help of the Forest Hill Society in the form of a local historian and/or anyone with the story of the Pools saga. Interested? Then contact the show's producer Sarah Bateson soonest at sarah.bateson@bbc.co.uk
