Lewisham consults on planning policy

Many of the posts on this forum are planning related and it seems that we are often unhappy with Lewisham's policy on development.

All too often we find ourselves arguing over a policy that was adopted long before we knew it existed or realised how important it would turn out to be.

However, for the next two weeks you can comment on Lewisham's latest planning policy. This is called the "Core Strategy Options Report" and it sets out their vision for Lewisham.

To make a comment on the policy you have to register but that is easy enough. See here:

For those of you concerned about the proposed development of the Tyson Road/Christian Fellowship Centre site you may want to comment on Section 5.2 of Appendix 5 which lists the sites where the Council is proposing housing development in the next few years.
