I live in a block of council flats and we used to pay our water rates through the council but since the council has now stopped this, I received my first bill £207 which was just above what I used to pay paid now just received a new bill and it now as doubled which is £457 how can they justified this price hike when fixing water leak at the bottom of and blocking the road off for over 8 days with no work been done for at least 3 of them. Residents was forced to use a unadopted road which is totally unsuitable for most vehicles unless you have a high suspension 4x4 using this road has cause damaged to my car. I am now going to put in an insurance claim to them. If they don't pay for it I will take them to the small claims court. We need to keep these private companies to account .
