Sally Eva is leading a bike train from Nunhead and Peckham Rye Station on Wednesday 1 June. The route will be through quiet back roads, parks and segregated cycle lanes, the idea being to show new riders how to get into town safely.

From Blackfriars, riders can be taken on individually to Faringdon, Kings Cross, Mayfair and Westminster. Return rides by arrangement on the day.

The train leaves Nunhead Station at 8am, Peckham Rye station (from the bike stands behind McDonalds) at 8.10am and arrive at Blackfriars at 8.45. This is free and reliable (unlike the train) and, equally unlike the train, we will wait if we know you are coming. So to book your place, mail southwark@lcc.org.uk or text Sally Eva on 07842 640 207.
