Hi - not to frighten anyone, just a tip off to be careful.

We were burgled Monday night on Garthorne Rd. They got in from the nature reserve at the back and crow-barred the kitchen window, looks like the railings at the Beadnell Rd entrance have been bent to let someone through so that may have been the way in. They took the usual stuff that was easy to lift but made off with the car keys and the car. We heard nothing at all upstairs while this was going on.

In future I'll be putting car keys and wallets away, hiding laptops out of sight and putting double locks on all windows.
