The History of St Christopher’s Hospice and how Dame Cicely Saunders came to develop the Modern Palliative Care Philosophy.

Jenny Taylor, a physiotherapist, was Head of the Allied Health Professional Team at St Christopher’s and spearheaded an innovative approach to rehabilitation. Personally inspired by Dame Cicely Saunders, who was her patient in her final years, she has lectured widely both here and abroad.
