Hi All,

We are looking to expand our current home rather than move out of the area as i fear that a bigger house in the area is now out of our price range so we are considering both a side return and loft conversion instead.

We would like to know others experiences of side returns/lofts in terms of
+ what they would have done different?
+ design choices you wish you made
+ ball park build costs (I know spec will greatly change this)
+ Lewisham Council planning controls i.e. any gotcha regulations we need to be aware of

any help/advice is appreciated
