You Said, We Listened, We Did

We’ve been conducting traffic operations throughout the ward recently and have been using the speed gun on Sydenham Hill advising those motorists caught exceeding the speed limit.

Seriously? Who asked for this? 20mph on Sydenham Hill is utterly ridiculous (and something I understood the police themselves objected to) and yet this is where our local police choose to 'conduct traffic operations'.

What a waste of police time and resources. Whoever set this as an operational priority needs to have a serious re-think about how best to serve the people that pay their wages.
