If he is so worried about government cuts perhaps he should think about giving up his car and chauffeur and save the people of Lewisham a few pounds on their council tax. Another big saving could be made by cutting the planning dept in half and stop the council interfering in improvements people would like to make to their own homes especially after what has been allowed to happen at the bottom of Loampit Vale, looks awful.
