I live in HOP, by Stillness school, and work in Camden Lock, halfway between Camden Town & Chalk Farm station. I cycle, ride a motorbike and once in a while travel on public transport. My travel times are like this;

bicycle - 45 minutes there, 50 minutes back (I'm tired coming home and its uphill all the way from Peckham Common!). I'm a 40 year old riding a single speed so I'm not particularly fast.

motorbike - 35 minutes pretty much all the time. I vary my route depending on roadworks.

train - HOP to LB and then Northern Line, or HOP - CW - Camden. Door to door takes me at least an hour. An alternative is Crofton Park - Kentish town and then a 10 minute walk. This also takes an hour but is less busy and I can sit down.

To answer the original thread, I lived in Raynes Park, Borough High Street, Bethnall Green, Notting Hill, before buying a flat in Camberwell (5 years, and then moving to a house in HOP in 2007.

Cheers,
