Thanks ever so much for all the help and advice offered - it's all been really useful. We've sought out independent advice and have been in touch with Willmott's, awaiting a response.

Unfortunately after we signed our contract we discovered the landlord is the boss of Willmott's - not what they admitted to before we signed!
