There's some reference on the internet to a book called History of Kings and Princes Garth and Forest Hill (Meles Meles Marks 1997) by Jad Adams, who lives in King's Garth. Obviously the library is closed but whether they would have it via the mobile library... (This thread has made me want to read through the two local history books I got as housewarming presents many months ago!)
