I see a maurading band of Orcs has been at work in Trilby Road. So many fine trees felled to feed the fires (maybe bio-mass boilers?) in their dark tower........

Quite a few disappeared from surrounding roads too. 2 huge ones went from Church Rise a couple of weeks back too.

Looks like the Orcs returned yesterday to butcher some of the remaining trees...grind out the stumps of those they cut down previously and leave raised patches of tarmac as trip hazards. I'm sure they and their masters know best.

a pity they wouldn't come and do the same for the dead cherry tree on Siddons Road outside my house (been dead for at least 2 years) we saw the offending neighbour's delightful dog ripping the bark off it in the wee small hours (as we peered, more than a little scared out the bedroom window) - the neighbour is, thankfully, long gone but the dead tree is still there as a reminder - not for the want of me reporting it on love Lewisham but nothing has ever been done to remove/replace.

I'm sure they will reach your road eventually - judging by the spoor they leave behind they have ranged far and wide.
