Our cat had to be put down so now we are looking for a new one, we have a back garden and a cat flap already in place, we were thinking of getting one from a rescue center but I thought I'd try on here first.
We are looking for a friendly cat either a young one or a kitten.
If you can help please message me preferably with a pic.
Thanks.

Hi pchome -
I can recommend Ceilia Hammond, they're just down the road in Lewisham Way. http://www.celiahammond.org/ (you can browse through some of their cats that need re-homing on the website)

I got my cat from there and have absolutely never regretted it. They also regularly have kittens and young cats, during kitten season and beyond, and often run out of space because so many stray or unwanted mums with litters are brought it and taken care of or fostered. It's quite heartbreaking, so would be great if you could give one of their cats or kittens a home!

I echo Tinkerbell's post - Celia Hammond centre does a fantastic job and needs our support

there are always some beautiful cats/kittens on their website

I like the way this post is above one called "pest control - mice" Smile

if anyone shops in Sainsburys at New Cross Gate there is a box for cat food donations (for Celia Hammond rescue) in the (I think) middle exit

I also recommend Hamilton's Cat Fund in Dulwich. http://hamiltonscatfund.co.uk/

Lovely people, gave us a couple of kittens last year.
