With a lot of people on here (myself included) getting het up on local government ignoring our wishes/needs or desires where does the buck stop? I refere to the pools, the station and the closed gate on platform two, parking etc etc.

There must be someone who is accountable to us, afterall, are we not the people they are supposed to serve or have we gone so far down the line as to be but tattle to these people?

The station isn't the Council's responsibility.

The trouble is 'the people' aren't a homogeneous entity who all think the same thing. For every person who's adamant a building should be saved there's someone who would be happy to see it demolished, someone who thinks it would be nice to save it if possible but would be prepared to see it demolished in certain circumstances, and quite a few people who couldn't care less!

It's easy to think that 'they' aren't listening to 'us' when 'they' aren't doing what 'we' want them to.
