One to be aware of which has just come up locally on Twitter via the Met.
Thankfully in this case the suspect has been arrested.

The member of the public was approached by the victim who informed him of what happened & managed to stop the susp prior to police arrival

The suspect asked the victim if she wanted help with her gardening and she declined. @MPSLewisham The suspect then returned, knocked at the door asking if she could use the toilet and the victim's handbag was stolen
